About Me
I received my BM in Voice Performance from Arizona State University, and my MA in Music Education from the University of Washington.
I currently live in Beacon Hill in South Seattle with my wife Hannah Mowry.
Music Educator
I have 10 years of experience directing high school choral music programs. 5 of those years were spent at Mount Si High School, where our award-winning choirs earned regional recognition across concert and jazz genres. I currently direct the nationally recognized Roosevelt High School Vocal Jazz 1 group.
I have worked with elementary aged students as a music specialist at Bailey Gatzert Elementary, as well as serving as a music director at Seattle Girls Choir and The Seattle Opera’s youth programming.
Clinician & Coach
I have extensive experience adjudicating small and large group festivals, as well as solo competitions. I have served as the retreat clinician for high school programs in Washington State, and directed regional middle school honor choirs. Please contact me for availability.
Private Lessons
I teach private voice lessons to youth and adults and occasionally have openings in my schedule to add new students. Reach out if you are interested!
Community Outreach
I have led a singing group at Recovery Cafe for the past 3 years. Together, we have performed at Seattle’s Figgy Pudding caroling competition and at multiple fundraisers for Recovery Cafe, as well as open mic nights and other community events.
